Palmwoods Scout Group The Palmwoods Scout Group is a member of the Scout Association of Australia.

Palmwoods has a joey mob (5-8) (no joeys at present due to no leader)Cub Scout Pack (ages 7 to 11) and a Scout Troop (ages 11 to 15). Membership is open to boys and girls and the group continues to increase in numbers with approximately 40 active members. Membership fees are $50 per term per child, and an annual subscription fee to Scouts QLD. The sections meet every week during school terms to en

joy activities and training by following a structured program that develops their skills and challenges them to work towards earning badges and awards that recognise their achievements.

We're thrilled to reveal the theme and logo for Cuboree '23 for Qld Cuboree!

No better way to showcase the adventurous journey that our Cubs take during Scouting than through “Choose Your Adventure”!

Cuboree ’23 will provide opportunities for our cubs to try adventurous activities at on-site bases, a never-before-seen exciting major activity (no need for sea sickness tablets this time!) and more off-site days with activities for the youth to choose from, which will showcase the beautiful Fraser Coast location.

We have had another break in to the Scout Den, Window smashed to gain entry and Den has been completely trashed
Very tragic for the community to have this sort of behaviour
We now have to replace over $400 of fire extinguishers that were discharged, security system stolen and cameras smashed
Irreplaceable historical scouting memorabilia dating back to 1950’s smashed. A full inventory of damage yet to be completed.
