We had a great turnout this morning with many from the community coming out to help collect donations. Panmure CFA collected $794 and we would like to thank everyone who donated or came out to help collect.

Friday morning the truck will be out and and about from 9am with lights and sirens going, not responding to your typical emergency, but raising funds for the Good Friday appeal to support the Royal children’s hospital. Come out and say hi as we come around and help us support children in need.

Tomorrow 10th March, Ellerslie CFA and other local Brigades will be conducting a roadside burn on the Hopkins Highway from Ellerslie to Mortlake.
Traffic Management will be in place with some delays. Please be patient with us, whilst we conduct this important fuel reduction burn.

It’s been a crazy week for our brigade and the CFA as a whole, it stated on Wednesday with a crass fire in Fram then on Friday we had a fast moving grass fire we attended in Glenormiston.

On saturday we had 4 Panmure members fly uo to wodonga to help at the Corryong fire where a group of CFA volunteers from the Warrnambool, Hamilton and Portland areas flew up to form 2 strike teams. We worked alongside NSW RFS, FFMV and local landholders to improve control lines and render assistance to the affected residents.

Then just last night we had 2 member join a strike team to the otways, we would like to thank our dedicated member for giving up their time to help not just our community but the whole state.
