📌 Information on the warmer soft shell jacket is now available on QKR. The jacket is $50 and will have the black logo. Orders must be placed via QKR only to assist with tracking and ordering.

A sample jacket is available at reception for sizing. Sizes are available to fit chest measurements from 68–117cm.

👉 This will be a one-off special order for 2026, with orders closing Wednesday 10 June.

Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery and processing once orders are placed.

Our intermediate netball girls at Underwood Park last week for the termly Super 7s Comp! 💪🏼 The girls fought hard and only come up short by one point in one of their games. We are proud of the girls for winning their first game of the day, but also for their continued teamwork that's always displayed by our netballers. 👏🏼

A pretty special full-circle moment here at PRSHS 💚

Brett Howard was one of our Foundation students many years ago, taught by none other than Mr Brew. Our Brewy is still part of the PRSHS community today as a HOD of Design Technology. 🔨

Fast forward to 2026, and Brett has now welcomed current student Jack Harwood for a week of work experience through Coastal Wastewater Specialists, who are a proud family business owned by two locals, Brett and Cilla.💧

To top it off, Construction Skills Queensland - CSQ visited to capture the story and the incredible connection between all three generations of PRSHS. 🙌

This week’s Career Spotlight is with POWERLINK, Queensland’s leading supplier of high voltage energy to distributors like Ergon, and Energex. Prerequisites for application include your QCE with passes in Maths and English (different levels depend on what you are applying for) and be willing to obtain or have a manual driver’s licence. A Certificate II in Electrotechnology is an advantage. Today we acknowledge National Sorry Day, remembering the Stolen Generations - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who were forcibly removed from their families, communities, and culture under past government policies.

A display is set up on the grass outside X Block throughout Reconciliation Week as a tribute to the Stolen Generations and the ongoing journey of healing and reconciliation. 🙌

Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to reflect on our shared histories, cultures, and how we can walk forward together. 🤝

FOTWK 6 - This week our focus is "Being an UPSTANDER." An upstander is someone who chooses to act safely and responsibly when they see or become aware of conflict, rather than standing by and watching. This includes not joining crowds, filming or sharing incidents, or spreading rumours, and instead focusing on facts and seeking support from a trusted staff member early if something is not right. 👈

We ask families to please reinforce this message at home by talking with your child about making safe choices, speaking up early, and helping keep our school community calm, respectful and safe.🙌
