Our Year 11 Science students enjoyed a day of discovery at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute and the The University of Queensland Pathology Museum!

Students stepped into the shoes of real scientists, taking part in hands-on laboratory activities. 🧫 They used professional scientific equipment before exploring real-world examples of disease and pathology. 🔬From the lab bench to the museum floor, the experience brought their classroom learning to life. It provided valuable insight into topics currently being explored in the Year 11 Science curriculum.

Today we acknowledge the wonderful work of our cleaners ✨

The Department of Education employs over 5,900 cleaners in schools across Queensland. We are very fortunate to have 15 dedicated cleaners here at PRSHS. 💚 They work in a variety of different times in the day - early in the morning, back in the afternoon, and evenings, to ensure our school is in tip-top condition. 🫧
