The Marramarra Makerspace Studio is a flexible STEAM space in the Parkes Shire Library and Cultural Centre.

Free to use for library members the space fosters learning, creativity and opportunities in the areas of STEM and the Arts.

What an incredible opening of the Waste 2 Art exhibition with around 80 people in attendance! The talent across the Parkes Shire is truly inspiring.

Congratulations to all our winners and to every artist who entered—your creativity shines. A special shout‑out to our Highly Commended artists as well.

Be sure to visit the exhibition at the Parkes Library & Cultural Centre, open until June 20. ♻️✨

YOUTH WEEK in PARKES
Youth aged 12–22 are invited to jump in for an epic night of music, creativity, and good times at our FIRST EVER Jam Night! Whether you want to perform or just cheer on your mates, this is the place to be.

With support from Dave Forbes Guitar Academy , everyone is welcome—first‑timers, seasoned performers, and anyone in between. If you’ve ever wanted to give performing a go, this is your moment.

And yes… there will be PIZZA 🍕🍕🍕

🎤 Don’t forget to check out our Rock Band Workshops with Dave too—they’re the perfect warm‑up for Jam Night.
