When we talk about density in Glenfield, it’s not just about adding more homes — it’s about making the most of a well-located place and creating a community where people can thrive.

Here’s what density done well looks like in Glenfield:

🏡 new homes close to Glenfield Station, with easy rail access to the Sydney CBD, Parramatta and the broader network
🚶 Walkable neighbourhoods with green streets that encourage connection and a sense of belonging
🌳 Well-designed open spaces, with 63% of residents living within 200m of a park or place for play, relaxation and community
🏘️ A diverse mix of housing types that support people with different needs and budgets
🏢 Taller buildings will be located near the train station, balanced by 16 green spaces across the site.

Density done well isn’t about crowding — it’s about thoughtful, well planned development that builds on Glenfield’s strengths and supports a liveable, sustainable future.♻️

National Reconciliation Week invites all Australians to take part in reconciliation in practical, everyday ways. The 2026 theme, All In, reminds us that reconciliation is about shared responsibility and collective action.

Our community coffee catch‑up brings people together to connect, learn, and support reconciliation in action. We use Plate Catering and Events, an Aboriginal‑owned business at our coffee catch-ups. Supporting First Nations enterprise is part of how we come together.

Alongside coffee, families can take part in a weaving and stone painting activity with Nula Weaving, offering a chance to engage with culture through art, story, and shared experience. These small, meaningful moments are how understanding grows and how we all contribute to lasting change, together.

🏡 Glenfield is growing! Landcom’s rezoning proposal aims to deliver around 5,200 new homes in Glenfield West, including a mix of apartments, terraces and detached houses over the next 10 to 15 years.

This diverse range of housing is designed to support people at every life stage, whether you are starting, growing a family, or looking to downsize while staying close to transport, services and community.

The proposal is currently on public exhibition until 11 June 2026.
