Last night our members attended Langwarrin Fire Brigades annual trivia night fundraiser.
One of our 2 teams called, No Eye Dear took our first place for the night with 2nd table not far behind, NOT 😜. Thank you to all that attended from our brigade and a big thank you to Cam and everyone at Langy for a great night out. See you again next year. 👍🚒

⚠️ Community Safety Notice ⚠️

Motorists are advised to exercise caution when travelling on North Road, between Centre Road, Western Port Highway and Craig Road, due to an oil spill affecting the roadway.

Road surfaces may be slippery, particularly for motorcycles and other vulnerable road users. Please reduce your speed, allow extra stopping distance, and drive to the conditions.

If travelling through the area, remain alert and follow any directions provided by emergency services or road authorities.

This week we trained with our neighbouring brigades in Pearcedale to see how quick we could contain a fire in Colley st reserve if it was to happen.
With our main focus being on asset protection and containing the fire to the boundaries. We had the RPAS (drone) unit from Rowville and Westernport group’s mobile incident control van, also a visit from Sgt Lachie Gray from Hastings Vicpol. It was a very educational experience for a lot of the members to see how a drone can help us make the important decisions to make public safety our number 1 priority. A big thanks to all involved and to Adam for countless hours to make this happen and to our support group who braved the cold to put on hot drinks and light refreshments. Thanks again to all involved.

Reminder of our CFA training night tonight. We are using the shopping centre as our staging area so please don’t be alarmed by the large presence of all emergency vehicles in the vicinity of our shops. Thanks guys.

🚒Community reminder 🚒

This Monday night 25th May we will be conducting one of the biggest training sessions our members have undertaken. There will be approximately 20 fire trucks and other appliances in Pearcedale conducting an exercise to see how quick we can contain a fire in the Colley st reserve. Don’t be alarmed by their presence, feel free to come and say gday and see what we’re up to. If you’re interested in volunteering feel free to come down to our station one Sunday morning, we are desperate for some day time responders at the moment. Thanks guys 👍🚒

🚒 Community Notice 🚒

On Monday 25th May from 7:00pm, Pearcedale CFA will be hosting a cluster exercise with neighbouring brigades at the Colley Street Bush Reserve and around the Pearcedale shops.

There is no need for alarm if you see emergency vehicles in the area also a large drone will be flying around in the vicinity of Belltrees, Gracemere, Colley and Nathaniel streets. Feel free to come down and watch the exercise in action! 🔥🚒🔥
