THANK YOU to EVERYONE in our amazing community who has donated funds, precious time and/or products, toward our fundraiser efforts to obtain new ambulance vehicles and equipment. We know many purchased AVOCADO's on our fundraiser despite having a pantry full of avocado 🙃 we appreciate you all. Every contribution has been significant and appreciated in moving forward with our goal.
We excitedly look forward to showing off our new weewoo 🚑 vans on arrival (still patiently waiting on due date)

Everyone knows how hard our Ambo volunteers and the Pemberton/Northcliffe community have been working at raising funds to update our aging fleet of ambulance vehicles. That will include an upgrade to the safer (and more comfortable) Stryker stretcher. Thanks to a donation of $30,000 from the Scottish Masonic Charitable Foundation of WA (SMCF WA), which has enabled us to order a second vehicle, a refitted metro van. This is a huge achievement that pushed us across the line, and it wouldn't have happened without the combined fundraising efforts of Volunteers, the Community, and donors, such as the SMCF WA. THANK YOU.

Update on Replacing our Aging Ambulance Vehicles.
A shiny ✨ new ambulance, featuring a Stryker stretcher, is currently under construction and fit-out. The expected delivery date is slated for September or October 2026.
We will be yelling from the rooftops when we get the date.

Efforts to secure two used metro vehicles with Stryker fit-outs are ongoing. We have achieved an amazing level of our fundraiser goal and efforts are ongoing. The dedication and perseverance of our fundraisers, especially those who also serve as volunteer ambulance officers, have been crucial to our progress. We will soon recognize and thank our donors for their support.

Meanwhile THANK YOU everyone in community, both Pemberton and Northcliffe for your ongoing support, contributions and donations. You’re all amazing YOU deserve the best, and we appreciate you all.

SAVE THE DATE: 29th April 2026.
AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Training. The what, when, why, and where to locate one of the many units available around Pemberton. Gain confidence with an opportunity to practice on a training device.
Pemberton subcentre will run 2 sessions at 6pm and 7pm, with group numbers capped at 12 per session. Further sessions will be organised to match the response. EMAIL: [email protected] to register your interest. Training to be held at the subcentre, Hospital Ave, Pemberton. Northcliffe training opportunity to be announced soon.

We are very very proud of all our volunteers and this year particularly proud to announce one of our own has received Citizen of the Year for Manjimup Shire. Congratulations Lionel, well done 🥇.

The Shire of Manjimup honoured 11 local volunteers for their outstanding contributions to sport, emergency services, the arts, and community initiatives at the 2026 Citizen of the Year awards held at Walpole Community Hall on Saturday.

Lionel Lee was named Citizen of the Year for his dedication to the Pemberton St John Ambulance service, Lee Shuard received Senior Citizen of the Year for her vital role in supporting the Warren Tennis Club, and the Quinninup Community Association was awarded the Active Citizenship Award for its work promoting and protecting the interests of the Quinninup community. Congratulations to all winners and nominees for your outstanding dedication and invaluable contributions to the community! ✨
