Have you met our handsome Laddie down by the Pool? 🐶

🐾 We're on the hunt for a new home where he can truly be the centre of the universe. He’s sweet, a little bit special, and his one blue and one brown eye will stare lovingly into your soul until you give in to cuddles - which he will demand.

🌿 Ideally, we’d love for him to stay local to Pemberton so he can still see his sister, mum, and brother. We’re hoping to keep up doggy play dates as a family - or even join other border collies for regular catch‑ups at the Pemberton Pool.

🍑 He's a long-haired, apricot flavoured pure bred Border Collie (de-sexed). He’s great with small families and other dogs, but he gets a bit jealous of his sister and really just wants all the love for himself. If you’re after a loyal shadow who adores attention and won’t take no for an answer, he’s your perfect match.

🐕 Laddie is 2 and a half years old, with plenty of energy for chasing his sister or ducks around, going for swims, and heading out on adventures, but he’s just as happy curled up on the couch being your warm, snuggle buddy.

On Monday 26 January, our community is invited to come together at the Pemberton Pool for a relaxed, inclusive day focused on connection, reflection and supporting a much-loved local space.

☀️ Free Community Breakfast | 7am–10am
A simple way to gather, share a meal and enjoy the beautiful pool setting.

🎶 Pemberton Pool Fundraiser | 12 noon - 3pm
Live music from James and a fundraising sausage sizzle, with funds raised supporting the Pemberton Pool GoFundMe https://www.gofundme.com/f/pemberton-pool-fundraising Donations will go towards the ongoing care, maintenance and gradual improvement of the pool precinct.

This day is about community, care and coming together in a way that feels respectful and welcoming to all. Everyone is warmly invited.

We had an awesome Busy Bee 🐝 today at the Pemberton Pool ❤️ Thank you so much to those who helped, dig, rake and drag branches out and helped tidy, especially the kids pools, they look fantastic!

Big toys are coming in later to help clear more mud 🚜

Please be cautious if children jump in, the mud does catch you. RIP gum boots 😅

You may have noticed our pool is empty at the moment 🥸

The Pemberton Pool will be empty for about two months while we work through our maintenance and clean ups 🧹

As the weather is fine we’ll be starting the clean up this weekend, particularly 9-12 on Sunday morning so if anyone is available to help please come down, bring gum boots, a rake and strong arms 💪🏽

A great afternoon to mark the midway Pinot Picnic weekend 🍷🍇🧀🥪

🧺🥪 Pemberton Picnic – Saturday 3rd May | 12–5pm

Grab your picnic blanket, your favourites from the Pinot Picnic weekend, and head to Pemberton Memorial Park for a relaxed, feel-good afternoon under the trees.

This FREE community event is BYO everything—your food, your treats, your people—and is all about soaking up the atmosphere with live music, great company, and a golden Pemberton sunset 🌅🎶

✨ Make a day of it:
🛍️ Start at the CWA Op Shop in the morning
☕ Pop into one of the local cafés to grab some picnic bites like Wild at Heart - Pemberton
🎉 Then meet us in the park for a low-key chilled afternoon

🎷 🎹 LIVE music by Helen Rose & Kevin Jones from 12-2pm, and the talented Poppy will available to create stunning, intricate henna art later on.

Le Mirage mobile bar will be at the event, ready to chat, answer your questions, and showcase what they’re all about! They’ll also be serving up some refreshing soft drinks—stop by, hang out, and learn more about what they do!

This is the midway celebration of the Pinot Picnic weekend, and it’s the perfect chance to come together, unwind, and celebrate all things local.

🍷 Not done yet? Pemberton Hotel and Jaspersbarwa Whisky Bar will be open after the event to keep the good times flowing.
