A concern may appear resolved during a support session – but follow-up action can still be critical.

Providers and support workers operate in everyday settings where participants’ care needs can change quickly. Under the NDIS Code of Conduct, providers must act promptly when concerns may impact the quality and safety of supports.

Support workers also play an important role in recognising early risks and escalating concerns in line with established workplace processes.

Are you worried about the safety or quality of your NDIS supports or services?

Most providers work hard to deliver good quality services, but we know that sometimes there are problems. It’s always okay to speak up when things aren't right.

We encourage you to speak with your provider first. If you don’t feel safe doing this, or if the problem continues, you can contact the NDIS Commission. You can also ask someone you trust to help you make a complaint.

Every concern matters. Even if it doesn’t lead to direct action, it helps us build a clearer picture of risks across the sector.
