25/5 It must be our B-double day. RFS crews and F&R were paged to a truck fire on the Hume outside Penrose Quarry. It was a tyre/axle fire on the dog trailer which was extinguished by CABA crews. Penrose 1 supplied water to Wingello 1 and F&R.
BIG thanks to Southern Highlands bulk water who filled us up, one less task when we got back to station

25/5 Marulan and Penrose RFB, Bundanoon F&R, Police and NSW Ambulance attended a collision between 2 B-doubles on the Hume H'way northbound near Paddy's River. One truck rear ended the other truck whose rear trailer broke off. One driver was transported to hospital, leaking hydraulic fluid covered with absorbent and towies did their job.

23/4 Thank you to all who attended our AGM last night. Congratulation to Chris, Dan, Mike, Thomas and Dave who received their 'NSW Premiers Flood Emergency Citation' for their work during the 2022/23 NSW flood emergency from our District Officer Susie Michaels.
All the Field Officer positions remain the same except for the addition of two new Deputy Captains, congratulations to Todd and Thomas.

Yesterday afternoon the Brigade attended a large multi-agency response to a car roll over in Wingello State Forest. Some patients had to be removed from the vehicle by the SES. They were transported to hospital by a mixture of helicopters and road ambulances.
