There's a colourful new addition brightening Outram Street 🌼🐝

West Perth Local Perth Local has unveiled a vibrant new mural by artist Sioux Tempestt as part of their Streets Alive program, a partnership with Main Roads Western Australia and WALGA

Titled Forage, the artwork celebrates the native pollinators of Kings Park and Perth's western suburbs, featuring bees weaving between banksias, kangaroo paws, bottlebrush and other native blooms.

A big congratulations to West Perth Local for bringing this beautiful artwork to life and adding another splash of colour to our city streets.

The Shaping Perth City Centre: Towards 2036 and Beyond study, developed in partnership with Gehl, outlines a bold vision for a more connected and accessible city.

One of the key proposals, the “Buneenboro Loop”, strengthens connections between the City Centre, Derbarl Yerrigan / Swan River and surrounding neighbourhoods.

Key Move #2 envisions a fully connected riverfront, making it possible to walk seamlessly from the city to Kaarta Gar-up / Kings Park by capping or sinking the freeway, and delivering an iconic pedestrian and cycling bridge linking the city with South Perth.
