Speaking at the report launch at Government House, the Governor said chaplains are a trusted and consistent presence who help strengthen wellbeing and support students, staff and families across school communities.

Business leader and chair of the board of St John WA Monish Paul has been recognised as a Commander of the Order of St John.

St John WA has been servicing and operating as an integral part of the Western Australian community for more than 130 years.

And the Order of St John is an international Order of Chivalry under the Crown (the only Crown Chivalric Order still with a working arm) – the Order of St John of Jerusalem.

With over 25 years of leadership in corporate strategy, digital transformation, operations improvement, and public policy across both the public and private sectors, Mr Paul was elected Chair of the St John WA Board in October 2025.

At a ceremony at Government House in Perth, he was appointed as a Commander of the Order of St John, and invested as Commandery Lieutenant.
