🎨🏡 Major Investment in Alexander Park Community Hall! 🏡🎾

I was thrilled to have Minister for Sport & Recreation and Culture & the Arts, David Templeman MLA join me to announce that a re-elected Cook Labor Government will deliver $1.5 million for a major upgrade to Alexander Park Community Hall!

Home to 16 community groups, including the Alexander Park Craft House and Alexander Park Tennis Club, this much-loved space has been a hub for creativity, connection, and recreation for years. As time passes, the hall is starting to show its age, it's time for a well-deserved refresh.

This commitment will ensure local groups and residents continue to have a safe, welcoming, and modern space to come together for years to come.

Craft House is very please to announce, as an added bonus, the Aus Tapestry Challenge 2024 works will be on display at our Open Day. Aus Tapestry Challenge is an annual themed tapestry weaving challenge. Tapestry weavers throughout Australia are invited to participate, whether they are beginners or professionals. Tapestries can be abstract, realistic, or anything in between. This year's theme is Reading between the lines.
