Works have officially begun on Bridgetown’s new ultra-fast EV charging station!
Construction is now underway at 154 Hampton Street, soon to be home to the fastest EV charger on the South Western Highway, delivering up to 300 kW and recharging most EVs in under 20 minutes.
Delivered in partnership by BGTA, the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes, Talison Lithium, and Energy Policy WA, the project also includes battery storage and rooftop solar to support the Shire’s sustainability goals.
EV drivers will soon have the perfect reason to stop, recharge and explore Bridgetown, supporting local shops, cafes and attractions.
Opening expected March 2026. Stay tuned!

Passive design can make a big difference in how a home uses energy. 💡🏡

When building her home, Wendy incorporated passive design principles that work with the local climate; from north-facing windows that capture the winter sun to shading and greenery that help keep things cool in summer. 🌿☀️

By designing with energy efficiency in mind, Wendy created a comfortable home that uses less energy year-round.

💡 $150 Electricity Credit available 💰

If you're a Synergy or Horizon Power customer, you may have seen your electricity credit applied to your latest electricity bill.

For those who aren’t retail energy customers and are invoiced for electricity usage by a third-party provider (on-supply households), you will need to apply to RevenueWA to receive the credit.

This includes residents of caravan parks, retirement villages, apartment buildings, communities supplied by local mining companies and off-grid households.

Be sure to apply for your credit before 31 March 2026. ⚡
