Build your future and keep your long service leave with you ๐Ÿ’ญ

In WAโ€™s construction industry, your long service leave entitlement isnโ€™t tied to a single employer. When you change employers, your leave moves with you, so you donโ€™t lose the benefits youโ€™ve earned over time.

keeps track of your long service leave across all your construction employers, allowing you to claim and plan your leave. It is secure, portable, and designed for workers who move within the industry. ๐Ÿฆบ

WA Harmony Week at HQ ๐Ÿ“

This week, weโ€™re celebrating Harmony Week โ€” recognising the cultural diversity that strengthens our workplace, our industry and our community.

Our team held an onsite shared lunch so we could connect with each other and celebrate the many backgrounds and experiences that make up WA.

A reminder that respect, inclusion and belonging are built together โ€” and our differences are what make us stronger. ๐Ÿงก

International Womenโ€™s Day (IWD) 2026 at HQ ๐Ÿ“

Today celebrates International Womenโ€™s Day, held on 8 March each year. To mark the occasion, we held an onsite morning tea for staff this morning, providing an opportunity to come together, celebrate the contributions of women across our organisation and reflect on the
importance of advancing gender equality.

We were pleased to have Susan Barrera our Board member join us at the staff event and share a few welcome words in recognition of the day.

The theme Balance the Scales reminds us that equality is not about advantage for some; it is about dignity, safety and fairness for all.

The construction industry is stronger when everyone has a place to build their future.

Today on UN International Womenโ€™s Day recognise the achievements of women across every industry โ€” including the growing number shaping the future of construction.

From the office to the worksite, women are contributing leadership, skill and innovation across the sector. Their work continues to strengthen an industry that quite literally builds our communities. Itโ€™s also a moment to reflect on the progress made toward gender equality, while recognising there is still work to be done to create more inclusive and supportive pathways in construction.
