The Mental Health Commission (Commission) is the WA State Government agency responsible for planning and purchasing services and programs to improve the lives of people affected by mental health, alcohol and other drug problems. on delivers a range of direct alcohol and drug rehabilitation services. We fund public health services and non-government organisations to provide mental health services and support programs. Our vision is for Western Australians to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. Importantly, please be aware that this page is not a counselling service – If you need assistance for a mental health, alcohol or other drug issue, please call Here for You on 1800 437 348. If you need urgent assistance for a mental health, alcohol or other drug issue, call an ambulance on 000 or visit your local emergency department. Our page is monitored 9am – 5pm AWST, Mon-Fri except public holidays. We aim to respond to you within three business days. Yesterday we launched the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Prevention Network to raise awareness about alcohol-related risks during childbearing years.

This network will unite service providers, policymakers, researchers and experts across WA to share evidence, tools and best practices.
