Honoured to join US Consul General Colleen Altstock to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence.

It was a fantastic event highlighting the long, deep ties between Western Australia and the United States. We all embraced the spirit by dressing in red, white, and blue! A personal highlight was hearing Consul General Altstock reflect on John Glenn famously naming Perth the ‘City of Light’, a thoughtful reminder of our shared history and enduring partnership.

Wonderful catching up with the Premier and Sandra Brewer MLA, the Member for Cottesloe, along with a few unexpected locals at the petting zoo!

Happy Semiquincentennial, USA! 🇺🇸🇦🇺

Mischief managed!

Had an absolute magic time exploring the Harry Potter experience! Huge credit goes to the Shire of Kalamunda. It takes real vision and a bit of courage for local governments to back brand-new events, and this one paid off immensely.

The turnout, energy, and atmosphere were incredible. A truly outstanding success, so much fun, and proof of what happens when local council backs creative ideas.

10 points to Kalamunda!

30 years of excellence!

Such a fantastic time celebrating Bstrata's 30th Anniversary at the beautiful Moana Hall. It was wonderful catching up with so many great people in the strata community and raising a glass to three decades of success, hard work, and dedicated service.

Congratulations to the entire Bstrata team on reaching this incredible milestone—here's to many more years ahead!

So wonderful attending the inaugural meeting of the Probus Club of Mount Lawley supporting Mum (Robin)! The room was absolutely buzzing with energy, fantastic conversations, and great local connections.

For anyone unfamiliar, Probus clubs bring together retired and semi-retired people to expand their social networks, hear fascinating speakers, and enjoy warm community fellowship—all without any fundraising or formal obligations. Just pure connection, learning, and fun.

Looking forward to seeing this new local club thrive!

Looking for an irresistible sweet fix? Head straight to Sue Lewis Chocolatier.

Celebrating 11 amazing years at the gorgeous State Buildings, every single piece of chocolate here is hand-crafted perfection. But the absolute star of the show? Their divine hot chocolate. Rich, creamy, and ridiculously delicious—it is easily my favourite treat in the city.

Pop in next time you are near the precinct and help celebrate this local treasure. Your tastebuds will thank you! 😋👇

700 parkruns down, infinite community vibes to go!

Honoured to officially shout "Ready, Set, GO!" for the milestone 700th Claisebrook parkrun.

The 80s outfits were legendary, the energy was electric, and we even welcomed runners all the way from the UK and New Zealand.

Whether you run, jog, or walk, every Saturday is a good day to move together.

Espresso in hand, team scarf on, stadium lights glowing. Italy brought the heat, Perth brought the vibe.

Sun, socialising, and standard-issue flat shoes!

Fun popping down to the Perth Bowling Club Social Open Day. Learnt the ropes, met some wonderful people, and gave lawn bowls a shot (trickier than it looks, but hugely entertaining!).

Huge thanks to the amazing club members who patiently showed us newbies how it's done.

Saturday mornings in Perth always bring surprises! You never know when a lively troop of Morris dancers will light up Perth City Farm.

Reunited on the steps of Parliament House!

It was so great running into my former council colleague—and now Leader of the Opposition—Basil Zemplilas today. He may have traded the council chamber for new chapters, but catching up feels just like old times!
