This group was created for "CONSUMERS" who have defective issues with their home or any other defective building issue. Builders and Trades and their Associates MUST declare their Qualifications and Associations and potential or actual conflict in any of their commenting to avoid being subject to "troll" reports or "fake profiles" from members to Admin.
Review posts will not normally be approved. There are review sites elsewhere. Posts MUST identify the builder who is the subject of the post.
Comments made by members of the group are expressions of opinions of a person (the commentator) rather than the administrators or moderators.

6th and 23rd September 2008. Days that will live in infamy for consumers and especially homeowners in Western Australia.
Within weeks the Barnett Government announced it was abolishing the Building Disputes Tribunal and forming the WA Building Commission.
The Barnett Government claimed that urgent action was required for the protection of consumers and especially home buyers and that the deplorable state of affairs was the blame of the BDT and the former Labor Government.
They said they received more complaints about the misconduct of the BDT than they did about builders.
The Barnett Government told the people of WA that the days of iniquity, immoral and grossly unfair conduct against consumers were over with their creation of the BC.
The astonishing level of insincere arrogance of the Barnett Government was only exceeded by its duplicity and treachery and the vague, unclear and imprecise laws it claimed were instilled to protect you have plunged the issue from deplorable to diabolical and is now bordering upon the point of no reasonable prospects of solution because the costs involved runs in to the BILLIONS.
One would not be blamed for believing that the laws they claimed they created to protect you were a charade, deliberately designed to fail consumers, and to leave you at the mercy of your adversaries, and that the only thing they achieved was to make a bad situation dramatically worse, especially for home buyers.
The Insurance companies are taking many, many hundreds of millions of dollars every year for home and contents cover when the policies are technically and legally void because of defective workmanship. One decent storm will cripple this state financially, somebody from the BC is reported to have said recently. Everybody knows, but nobody knows what to do, so nobody does anything.
I do not believe the Barnett Government have just let you down.
I believe they have willingly set you up, and sold you out ---- to make life much easier than ever before for their associates, because that is most certainly the end result.
And now, after 4.75 years of McGowan Government, the aroma of decay, and the level of malfeasance, is exponentially worse.
There has been ONE, stop the world, stop all Parliament business, absolutely critical "urgent" act by the McGowan Government in 4.75 years and none of it had anything to do with protecting the community. This "urgent" mischeif was to get revenge satisfaction for cheating politicians including McGowan Government Ministers.
