This reed warbler didn’t begin as a product, it began as an idea. 💭
From the earliest concept sketches through to final installation at Wilson Park, this piece was designed, engineered and built entirely inhouse by the Miracle Recreation Equipment team.
This bird sits on the larger end of the warbler scale 😉and to do it justice, we respectfully sourced an off-site build location, giving the structure the space it rightfully deserved to be constructed, refined, and brought to life without compromise.
The process involved detailed planning, custom design work, careful material selection, precision hardware, and hours upon hours of hands-on craftsmanship. Every curve, scale, and texture was thoughtfully considered to honour the form while ensuring durability, safety, and long-term performance in a public environment.
A key part of this build was our commitment to sustainability. Much of the structure was created using reclaimed timber, giving new life to materials and reinforcing our belief that imaginative play and responsible design can go hand in hand.
What now stands at Wilson Park is more than a playground element, it’s a statement piece. One that invites curiosity, storytelling, and connection, while reflecting the value of making things properly, not quickly. 🗣️
