Welcome aboard Joey Airlines. Tonight Canning Joeys visited France (and ate crepes), the Netherlands (made windmills) and Greece (supposed to be making model Parthenons but there seemed to be a lot of marshmallow eating happening). Inflight snack was popcorn.
Thanks for flying with Joey Airlines. We hope to see you again soon.

Our Joeys had their creative juices flowing this week as they completed their trees for the Canning Orchard at this year's Canning Show. We're looking forward to seeing them unveiled on 6 November. Some of the Joeys are turning this into an Arts and Literature Special Interest Area by also completing the free colouring in competition for this year's show (https://canningshow.com.au/colouringincomp/)
We finished the night with one of Jilgie's favourites - Kim's game. The Joeys showed their great memory skills, collectively remembering the 15 items on the tray.

Two of our Venturers are joining Manjimup Scouts and Venturers on a 3 day hike along the Cape to Cape. Have fun, hopefully the weather is kinder than forecasted.

Our Joeys have been busy. Last week they visited Circul and helped out with weeding before going for a short guided walk. Highlight was seeing an Egret.
Tonight was Makers Mart. They made their own badges, screenprinted their own bags and did the base coat of their orchard trees for Canning Show

Last weekend our Cubs had fun improving their tennis skills with a coached session at Corinthian Tennis Club

A huge congratulations to Xin Yang and Sebastian, who are one step closer to earning the Grey Wolf Award, the highest achievement in the Cub Scout section.

As part of their award requirements, they successfully planned and completed an 11.3 km hike from Swan View Platform Station to Hovea Falls and back. What a fantastic effort!

Well done, Xin Yang and Sebastian — we can't wait to celebrate with you when you complete your peak award journey. 🎉

Our Venturers and Rovers didn’t let the bad weather affect their plans for a campfire … they just moved it indoors and baked their damper in the oven instead of in the coals.

Our Group is looking to find a new home for one of our boats. Free.

Currently in parts but the hulls can be assembled with lashings. Includes sail, mast & boom.
Some photos included from earlier days.
Maybe you want an unusual project boat. Maybe you just want the wood. That’s ok too however you’d need to take it all.
Where Kiribati is currently located does not have road access but we can help you get her to a boat ramp. Trailer not included .
