We’re proud to share a new Kreol Morisien / Mauritian Creole wellbeing resource, co-designed with R U OK? and members of the Mauritian community in Australia.

This initiative is part of Nuanced’s work with micro-communities — giving voice to communities that are often underrepresented, and making wellbeing support accessible in culturally familiar and meaningful ways.

It also comes at a time when mental health challenges are increasing across Australia, highlighting the importance of early, community-led conversations that help break down stigma around mental health and help-seeking.

A heartfelt thank you to R U OK? for their openness to co-designing with micro-communities, and to Dr Christina Meetoo (University of Mauritius) for reviewing and validating the language and content.

💛 This is a soft community launch ahead of a wider campaign in early 2026.

Festive periods can be particularly challenging for some — increasing feelings of isolation, stress or emotional strain — which makes checking in with one another even more important.

We invite community members to support this initiative by sharing the postcard, helping to start the conversations that strengthen connection, care and solidarity within our community.

Because sometimes, asking “R U OK?” in your own language makes all the difference.
