The Office of Multicultural Interests (OMI) is a division of the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport. Its key role is to advise the Minister on the development of WA Government policies and programs to achieve the full potential of multiculturalism. OMI develops strategies that include everyone—culturally diverse communities, the wider community, business and industry groups, gove

rnment and non-government agencies—to help develop a society that values and maximises the benefits of its cultural diversity.
