A VOTE FOR THE GREENS IS A VOTE FOR CHANGE!💚

So many people we met door-knocking in Golden Bay this afternoon are OVER the major parties.

This is an area where house prices have gone up 50% in the last 5 years. Rents have gone up 60%!

The system is broken, but it’s only The Greens who are advocating for a complete overhaul.

We are the only ones running in the Secret Harbour by-election who want to tax gas corporations to fund public & social housing, quality health, education and disability services.

The Greens are the only ones in this race who want to scrap AUKUS to prevent Australia siding with America and being dragged into war - plus we can think of so many better ways to spend $370 billion dollars!

One Nation, Labor and the Libs have all voted against taxing gas. They all love AUKUS.

A vote for the Greens is a vote for change.

SECRET HARBOUR NEEDS HOPE, NOT HATE! 💚

Pauline Hanson swung by Perth this week after her luxury European holiday to spread her hate and to pretend that she understands what people in Secret Harbour are going through.

But the reality is that One Nation is the party of the billionaires, funded by Australia’s richest woman.

Gina Rinehart wants to spread hate and division to distract us from the broken system that has made her so rich while so many of us are struggling.

And the major parties who got us into this mess are not the ones to get us out of it!

Only The Greens (WA) offer a real alternative and actual solutions this by-election!

- Rents capped to give struggling families immediate relief.

- Housing built for local residents rather than prioritising US AUKUS workers.

- Cheap, clean energy delivered by a rapid transition to renewables.

- Free public transport and to build the promised Karnup train station

- Stop AUKUS & Westport and protect our oceans.

We had a fantastic morning in Secret Harbour this morning launching our campaign for the Secret Harbour by-election and introducing our fantastic candidate Rhi Davies!

The people of Secret Harbour, Port Kennedy, Karup, Golden Bay, Singleton, Madora Bay, Warnbro and Lakelands deserve better than what the major parties have to offer.

The Greens want:

- Rents capped to give struggling families immediate relief.

- Housing built for local residents rather than prioritising US AUKUS workers.

- Cheap, clean energy delivered by a rapid transition to renewables.

- Free public transport and to build the promised Karnup train station

- Stop AUKUS & Westport and protect our oceans.

Meet Rhi, our Greens candidate for the Secret Harbour by-election.

"Hi! I’m Rhi. I’m an active community organiser, defence spouse of many years, and a local mum of three teenagers. Like so many mums, I am navigating the NDIS and rapidly emerging technology – I know the worries that parents are facing. I have watched as so many people in Secret Harbour are struggling with housing and cost of living crises. I’ve watched as both the Liberals and Labor have tied our future more and more closely to Trump’s war machine through dodgy AUKUS deals, putting defence families like ours a Tweet away from being drawn into another war. I am sick of watching the major parties ignore everyday people, and I want to do something about it."
