🌟 Volunteer Opportunity - Join Our Toy Library Team! 🌟

Are you looking for or know someone looking for a meaningful local volunteering role that makes a real impact for families in our community?

We’re on the lookout for a friendly volunteer to join our community Toy Library on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

By volunteering with us, you’ll help:

🧸 Support families to access budget-friendly fun
🌏 Promote sustainability by encouraging toy sharing
🧠 Support children’s development through play
🤝 Strengthen local community connections

Current shifts available:
● Wednesdays 7:00pm–8:00pm
● Saturdays 9:00am–10:30am

All you need is a welcoming smile and very basic computer skills (we’ll teach you the rest!).

💚 Defibrillator Now Available 💚

We are very excited to share with our local community that a defibrillator has now been installed at Yokine Toy Library.

We have put it on an external wall so it has 24 hour access and is the closest defibrillator for businesses across the road on Blythe Avenue, surrounding houses and also for Yokine Community Playgroup, which currently has over 130 families attending each week.

Having quick access to a defibrillator can save lives, and we’re proud to support a safer community for everyone 💛

In an emergency please call "000" for the code to access the defibrillator.

Please feel free to share with locals so they know where to find it. You could save a life ❤️🫶

Big thanks to Frank Paolino MLA who's election commitment investment in our Toy Library made this possible.
