Let's get real, who's a fan of twiddling their thumbs waiting for repairs? 🙋‍♀️ Not us! Our superhero vollies are fixing madly but sometimes you gotta chill. So, why not get your knit (or crochet) on at our Knit and Knatter table? There are people there to help. Our floor volunteers (you know, the ones looking really 'busy') will keep an eye on your spot in the queue. Just give 'em a shout!

👀 Ever wondered who makes the big decisions at the Community Centre?
Many people are surprised to learn that our Centre is governed by a volunteer Management Committee.
Each year, we hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) where we:
📖 Share our Annual Report and celebrate what we've achieved together
💡 Talk about our plans for the year ahead
🗳️ Elect the volunteer Management Committee (4 executive positions and up to 8 non-executive positions)
Having an AGM is a legal requirement but also a wonderful way to reflect and celebrate our Community Centre.
We would love for you to attend – come for some snacks and a chat. It is a welcoming and relaxed event.
