Yesterday, we held our termly Rippa Reader Luncheon, where two students from each Year 3 to 6 class enjoyed a special lunch with Ms Holden. These students were recognised for their outstanding commitment to the Literacy Pro program and their dedication to developing strong reading habits. Through their consistent effort and enthusiasm for reading, they have demonstrated impressive personal growth and a genuine love of learning. Congratulations to all of our Rippa Readers on this well-deserved achievement!

Students have been enjoying time in our school garden, a valuable learning space that offers many benefits beyond gardening. School gardens provide students with hands-on opportunities to explore science, sustainability and healthy living in a real-world context.

Working in the garden helps students develop responsibility, patience and teamwork as they care for plants and watch them grow over time. Gardens also support student wellbeing by encouraging time outdoors, reducing stress and fostering a sense of achievement. Through planting, maintaining and harvesting produce, students gain a deeper understanding of where food comes from and the importance of caring for our environment.

A huge thanks to Mr B for managing the garden which continues to be a wonderful space where students can learn, connect and grow together.
