PERTH GUNPLA EXPO 2016 calendar
(The Gunpla Expo will run for 1 week from Saturday 26 March to Sunday 3 April).

Saturday 26 March
- competition model(s) and display model(s) (for the Gundam Exhibit) to be dropped off to the TU store between 10.00 am - 5.00 pm.

Sunday 27 March - competition models will be judged.

Sunday 3 April - Award Ceremony
- competition and display models can be collected from the TU store any time after 2.00

PERTH GUNPLA EXPO 2016 Easter Weekend at Tokyo Underground, Level 1, 890 Hay Street.

Shelves will be restocked with OVER 200 model kits (including new Iron Blooded Orphan kits and tool sets) for this special event. There's also the Gunpla Competition 2016 (winners of Open Categories to represent Perth at the Australia Gunpla Builders World Cup in Sydney), Gundam exhibits, tutorials and Gundam trailer screenings, free Gundam building workshops over the Easter weekend (Saturday 26 March & Sunday 27 March). Join in the fun !

Perth Gunpla Competition 2016
Application forms close on Saturday 26 March, and model(s) and application forms must be dropped off to the TU store by 5.00 pm on the 26th March. Judging will take place on Sunday 27th March and Award Ceremony will take place on Sunday 3 April (time still to be determined). There's still time to enter, so please email us at [email protected] ASAP to get your Application form.

BANDAI GUNPLA BUILDERS WORLD CUP 2013 – WA QUALIFIER
Venue : Wai-con Anime Convention
Date : 2-3 February 2013

Tokyo Underground is currently in talks with PAniC (the organisers of the Perth Wai-con Anime Convention) to host the GBWC Event at Wai-con next year.

Categories include Advanced Category and Standard Category

ADVANCED CATEGORY (Junior & Adult)
- All grades and scales
- Open for any type of kit remodelling
- Scratch building is allowed for additional parts to incorporate with the kit
- No full resin or resin conversion kits
- All grades and scales
- Multiple entries allowed per person
- No after- market parts or decals

STANDARD CATEGORY (Junior & Adult)
Divided into the different scales – Best MG/1:100 or Greater, Best HG/1:144,
Best SD or BB.
- Must be built out of box
- Painting and official Gundam decals are encouraged for originality
- No after-market parts or decals
- No modification or scratch building
- No Dioramas
- No full resin or resin conversion kits
