We welcome and encourage open, respectful discussion on Carers WA’s social media platforms. We value the opportunity for carers to share experiences, access relevant information,
and support one another in a peer-to-peer environment. By accessing, viewing and/or posting any content on Carers WA social media pages or groups, you agree to the following terms of use, as well as those set by the relevant social media platform. By engaging with our social media platforms, you agree to the following:

2. Privacy and Confidentiality. You must not share personal identifiable information (e.g. address, phone number, financial details) or confidential information relating to carer programs. 4. You will not post any content that breaches applicable laws or regulations.
5. Acceptable Conduct. You must not post content that is:
Unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene
Harassing, discriminatory, or harmful to individuals or communities
Misleading or deceptive
Spam, unsolicited promotions, or unauthorised advertising
Impersonating another person or organisation
Containing malicious code or software
Content that breaches these standards may be removed, hidden, or reported.
6. Respectful Engagement. We encourage respectful and constructive discussion. Content that is disruptive, inflammatory, or intended to provoke conflict may be removed.
7. Moderation and Enforcement. Carers WA reserves the right to remove content, restrict engagement, or block users at its sole discretion without notice. Serious or repeated breaches may result in permanent bans.
8. Risk and Responsibility. You acknowledge that you are responsible for the content you share and any risks associated with sharing information online, including privacy and security risks.
9. Intellectual Property. By posting content, you confirm that you own or have permission to share the material and that it does not infringe any copyright or intellectual property rights. You grant Carers WA a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish, or display your content for organisational purposes.
10. External Links and Third-Party Platforms. Carers WA is not responsible for:
The privacy or security practices of social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). The accuracy or content of external websites shared by users. Links posted by users do not imply endorsement by Carers WA.
