Spring has sprung, and there’s plenty happening at Whiteman Park this September! 🌸 From nocturnal wildlife walks to low-sensory museum sessions and a day dedicated to four-legged friends, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
🤫 Quiet Hour at Revolutions Transport Museum | 9 & 21 September, 2.30–3.30pm
Enjoy a low-sensory museum experience with reduced lighting and sound, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the exhibits at their own pace.
🔦 Nocturnal Woylie Walks | Every Friday in September, 6pm
Explore the Woodland Reserve by torchlight with a knowledgeable volunteer guide, spot native wildlife and learn how Whiteman Park is helping protect the critically endangered woylie. Keep an eye out for woylies and quenda feeding right at your feet!
🚗Tarmac West Rally | 17 September, 1.30pm-4.30pm
Visit the Motor Museum of Western Australia and see motoring in action for two Special Stages of the Tarmac Events rally. Note: road closures will be in place all day on Whiteman Drive West and Mussel Pool Road. Enter the Park from Drumpellier Drive.
🔦 Kids Woylie Walks | 29 & 30 September, 6pm
A special night-time adventure for little wildlife lovers! Meet some of Whiteman Park’s education animals, explore the Woodland Reserve and visit the wetland to look and listen for resident frogs.
🐕 Doggies Day Out | 27 September, 10am–3pm
Bring your four-legged family members along for a fun-filled day at Mussel Pool West. Discover local pet services, browse pet products and let the pups enjoy plenty of space to roam, while the kids can enjoy face painting, a doggy-themed bouncy castle and more.
