💛 The final session of Children’s Book Week at Subiaco Library was held yesterday, featuring author and illustrator Susan Joy Lu with Subiaco Primary Pre-Primaries, Year 1s and Year 2s. 🐊 She taught them all about what it takes to be an illustrator and the importance of never growing up when it comes to your creativity! ❄️ Last week we celebrated our third Book Week session with the lovely Raewyn Caisley Author!
The children's library was jam packed with students from the local primary schools and boy did they have fun! Students competed against teacher to cut the best snowflake and read books that were filled with stories created with hidden science and maths (who would have known that the Fibonacci sequence and artists such Leonardo DaVinci and Michaelangelo were connected to Raewyn’s book writing)! 🧮 Kindly supported by The Children's Book Council of Australia WA branch and the WA government.
