GRANT FROM SWAN ALCOA LANDCARE PROGRAM (SALP)
We have once again received a grant from SALP who have been instrumental in assisting the Berringa Park Friends Group by way of grants to continue our very important work of ridding the riverbanks and wetlands in Berringa Park of non-endemic vegetation so as to allow us to re-vegetate these areas with infill. Berringa Park Wetlands covers an area of approximately 14 hectares with about 1 km of riverbank. The grant will be presented to us on Tuesday 17th February at Frasers Restaurant. We have again applied for another grant from SALP for 2027 to complete the clearing and re-vegetation at the end of the path near East St. (Zone 10a)
