Perthville Possums ⭐️

We’ve had another fabulous morning at Kindergarten transition!

We’ve navigated an obstacle course, listened to the Gruffalo, created slithery snakes, dotted our names and coloured!
We also loved our sand, water and paw-patrol play!

Thanks for coming and we cannot wait to see you all again next week! ☺️

Perthville Possums ✨

Our beautiful Perthville Possums have settled in beautifully to our school. We discussed friendship and how to be a quality friend, as well as practised our cutting skills. After much discussion, it appears the highlight for most was the beanbag throwing with our buddies. Well done beautiful people! We are so proud of the wonderful start you’ve had!

Kitchen and Garden Program
We sure have been busy over the last month with 5/6 and 4/5 completing both theory and cooking lessons. In theory lessons students learnt how to read food labels and work out the hidden sugar content in readily available soft drinks, juices and milk drinks. Students measured teaspoons of sugar into clip lock bags to demonstrate sugar content. Results were very insightful!
In cooking lessons we looked at budgeting home cooked meals and compared this to takeaway meal prices. We cooked spaghetti bolognaise, hummus & salad and chocolate muffins for 30 kids for under $70.
Recipes will be sent home during the week. Great work 4/5 and 5/6!
