Ever wondered what actually happens at a P&C meeting?
Or maybe you've thought about coming along but never quite made it? Our next Ormeau State School P&C Meeting is on Wednesday 21st October at 3:15pm, and we're especially keen to see some new faces!
You don't need to be a member, volunteer for anything, or commit to taking on a role. You can simply come along, have a listen, share your ideas and find out what's happening behind the scenes at our school.
We'll be chatting about plans for 2027, upcoming opportunities and what the future of our P&C might look like. It's an important conversation, and we'd love more parents to be part of it.

Where: PLC Room, Level 2 Junior Learning Centre
When: Wednesday 21st October, 3:15pm

Can't make it in person? You can join us online via Teams!
For the Teams link, help finding us, or to add something to the agenda, email [email protected].
We’d love to see you there 💙💛

This week, Ormeau State School has been recognising Queensland Mental Health Week, taking time to reflect on the importance of looking after our own wellbeing and supporting those around us.
Throughout the week, we have been reminded that small acts of kindness, connection and care can make a big difference.
A big THANK YOU to our generous local community supporters:
• Zarraffa’s Coffee Ormeau for kindly donating coffee vouchers for our staff.
• Bunnings for their generous donation of staff raffle prizes.
• Advancedlife photography for their donation of Baker’s Delight treats for our staff.
We truly appreciate your kindness and support in helping us recognise and celebrate our hardworking staff.
Remember, looking after our mental health matters — not just this week, but every day!
