Council is seeking community feedback on the Draft Community Engagement Policy.
The Draft Community Engagement Policy sets out how Council will inform, consult and involve our community in decision making. Its all about making sure your voice is heard and helps shape the future of our district.

Swimming season is fast approaching, and we're looking for a team to help staff our swimming pools! 🌊💦

Our pools are a great option for a summer job, providing the opportunity to expand your skills and interact with the community.

The pools are located in Pinnaroo and Lameroo.

🛟 LIFEGUARDS

Minimum age: 18 years

Required qualifications:
✅ Pool Lifeguard Skill Set SISSS00133
✅ Valid Working With Children Check
✅ Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (HLTAID011 & HLTAID009)

🍦 CANTEEN OPERATORS

Minimum age: 14 years

Required qualifications:
✅ Valid Working With Children Check
✅ Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (HLTAID011 & HLTAID009)

Council will arrange Pool Lifeguard and First Aid courses in the lead-up to pool season and will reimburse associated training costs for employees upon successful completion of the course. 🙌

🧸 PLAY @ THE HUB — WE’RE OFF TO A GREAT START!

Plans for our new Playgroup are coming together, with more families getting involved and some lovely donations already arriving. 😊
