Our wonderful park improvements keep rolling on here at Hartley’s. The upgraded wildlife trail boardwalks are taking shape and looking fantastic. The next section requires some operational changes while the team replaces the timber planking in our morning croc show area. This means our Wildlife Amphitheatre will be the venue for part one of our morning croc presentations. We appreciate eveveryone’s patience and understanding as we make the Hartley’s experience even better for all our visitors.

When you venture north to experience Carnivale this weekend, remember the little gems close by Port Douglas which are worth taking a few hours to explore. Mossman Gorge is around 15 minutes from Port and is a fabulous natural wonder staffed and operated by Kuku Yalandji traditional owners. Highly recommend are their private guided tours. Pre bookings essential. Hartley’s and Mossman Gorge can be easily experienced in one day self-drive.

Happy World Agri tourism day. Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is a world famous ecotourism attraction which also has a sustainable crocodile farming enterprise as one of its unique features. Our visitors very much enjoy the twice daily opportunities to visit our farm for a dedicated talk plus Q & A on sustainable crocodile farming. It is further enhanced by a video theatre which runs an educational ‘crocumentary’ on the subject.
