Please join us for a chat with award winning crime author Sarah Barrie and Leanne at our Port Macquarie Library on Tuesday 8th September at 5.30pm. Sarah Barrie is the author of numerous bestselling novels. Her latest novel, Dark Sanctuary, is a gripping, morally complex thriller set within a hospital for the criminally insane.

Hi everyone! All libraries will be temporarily closed on the afternoon of Monday the 14th of September for staff development and training. These sessions help us improve our services and continue delivering the best experience for our community.

Wauchope and Laurieton libraries will close at 12:30pm and Port Macquarie will close at 1pm.
All libraries will reopen as normal on Tuesday the 15th of September. That's almost two weeks still to go, so plenty of time until then. You can also still access all of our online resources 24/7 through our website. We thank you for understandingšŸ™‚

The event starts at 11:30am on Saturday the 29th, but the colouring competition is already running at the library, and there are book prizes to be won!

Next week is Scams Awareness Week and we want to help you feel prepared to identify and avoid scams.

Join us at Wauchope Library on Tuesday the 25th of August at 10am for a livestreamed presentation of "Can You Spot a Scam?" from Be Connected. Book Week is coming! In celebration of this year's theme, Symphony of Stories, we have a special giveaway where you can win one of two bookish prizes!

From now until the end of Book Week, pop into your library and fill out the entry form for your chance to win. Flip over your submission sheet and there's a just-for-fun book hunt challenge for you to try. Can you spot a book for each clue?

Entries close on the 28th of August, one entry per person, with the winners announced in the first week of September. Wishing you luck!
