🐨 🍃A first look inside our new Koala Hospital!

We’re excited to announce that from Monday 7 September, the new Koala Hospital will be open to visitors as part of a soft opening.

This means our doors will be open to the public, giving you the chance to visit our incredible new facility and see the next chapter of koala care at Koala Conservation Australia.

This is not our official opening event - our official launch will be announced soon, and we’re planning something very special to celebrate this exciting new chapter. 🐨✨

For now, we’re thrilled to begin welcoming you into our new home.

Love working with people and making a real difference in wild koala conservation? Koala Conservation Australia is looking for an organized, approachable People + Culture Coordinator to join our paid team!

In this role, you’ll work directly with our leadership and team managers to support recruitment, onboarding, workforce matching, and community culture across our sites, including the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital and Guulabaa.

⏱️ Type: Part-time ($64k p.a. pro-rata)

🤝 Focus: Onboarding, team support, engagement, and operational coordination

We are open to anyone with strong writing, administration, and organizational skills that transfer!

The Details:

⏱️ Type: Part-Time ($65,000 p.a. pro-rata / $39,342)

🛠️ The Job: Managing our donor database, assisting with grant applications, and handling donor administration.
