Hastings Education Fund

Hastings Education Fund HEF is a registered charity run by a small committee of volunteers and affiliated with the Country Education Foundation.

“We strive to support the post school career and study dreams of youth from the Port Macquarie Hastings Council area who need assistance to achieve their goals” We provide financial grants and support to youth (16-25) from our local Port Macquarie Hastings area only, to help them achieve their post school education, training and vocation goals - whether at uni, TAFE/VET or via apprenticeships. We

recognise further study or training costs can be much higher for regional students than their city counterparts and sometimes prohibitive. HEF fundraises throughout the year and seeks donations from local people and businesses to help us support students who need an extra helping hand. Our funds come directly from our community and CEF partners – none is government funded.
