The delicious aroma of bacon and eggs was wafting over the school grounds this morning and all the students are VERY excited to go shopping at the Fathers Day Stall today.

Year 5 Camp – the adventure begins!

Our very excited Year 5 students set off to the country today. When they arrive, they’ll hike to their campsite, pitch their own tents and cook their own dinner — AMAZING! 🙌

Let’s hope they enjoy cooking dinner so much that they keep it up when they get home!

If you noticed your children are extra happy today… this is why! Check out the amazing spread at Cupcake Day! It was like walking into the Land of Sweets from The Nutcracker!

📖❤️ Book Week! 📖❤️

It was fabulous to see so many creative costumes around PMPS yesterday – and we loved seeing our teachers getting in on the action too!

We went on a trip down memory lane, seeing a mix of characters from classics, old favourites and new stories. From Odysseus and Zeus from The Odyssey (which our Year 6 students studied an abridged version of this year), to Moonface and the Saucepan Man from The Magic Faraway Tree, and then newer characters like Neville the Penguin from Neville’s Great Escape and The Bad Guys gang!

We all went on a journey through the literary world yesterday, proving that reading really is magic! We are so glad that the celebrations are continuing all week! 📖❤️

🏆Hanna shines on the diving board for Team Victoria! 🏆

Year 6 student Hanna proudly represented Team Victoria at the School Sport Australia Games, competing in diving against some of Australia’s best young athletes, as well as competitors from Fiji and New Zealand!

She won 3 silver medals and a bronze in 5m Platform, Springboard and Synchronised Diving. Her first silver was Team Victoria Diving’s first medal of the Games!

We are incredibly proud of Hanna’s outstanding achievements and sportsmanship. What an incredible experience! 💙❤

🏆⚽ BEACHSIDE CHAMPIONS! ⚽🏆

Huge congratulations to our Mixed Soccer Team, who won the Beachside Division Soccer Tournament!

Our team embraced the inclusive spirit with a fantastic mix of footballers and non-footballers, Year 5 and Year 6 students, and both boys and girls. We were the ONLY team at the playoffs to have such broad representation.

Our team went undefeated, with wins against Oakleigh South (1–0), Our Lady of Lourdes (2–0), St Mary’s Hampton (4–2) and St Michael’s (2–0) in the final.

Special mentions to:

⭐ Jack H. who scored both goals in the final
⭐ Lola & Shylee were the only female players at the tournament and were amazing
⭐ Jim & Hugo kept three clean sheets
⭐ Shoutout to Jack H, Jack T, Elias, Kai, Andy & Seb for outstanding performances throughout the day!

Now onto the South Victoria tournament next week! Bring it on!
