South Port Day Links (SPDL) is a local not for profit, volunteer based organisation that has been delivering services to older people, people with a disability and those who care for them who are residents of the City of Port Phillip (CoPP) for nearly thirty (30) years. Our mission is to improve the lives of older people and people with a disability by providing a range of community transport and
support programs to enable independent living. The services provided by SPDL enable local residents to remain socially connected, independent and to continue living in their homes. We do this by providing a door to door community transport service within the CoPP to access health appointments, recreational, shopping and other activities essential to everyday living and personal well-being. Other companion services and programs available to clients are: PetMates(assistance with looking after pets), WalkMates (assistance for those who have difficulty walking on their own), GardenMates (assistance for those unable to do their gardening).
