**UPDATE: Prahran Aquatice has now reopened and is operating as usual.

This morning, Thursday 11 June, Prahran Aquatic Centre experienced an unexpected power outage which has impacted a number of essential services and has resulted in the temporary closure of the facility.

​CitiPower are currently investigating the cause of the outage and expect the power to be restored by approximately 1:00pm. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide further updates as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, Harold Holt Swim Centre remains fully operational and is available as an alternative facility for members and users.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding.

✨NEW✨ Social scripts are now available for key community spaces across Stonnington, including Prahran Aquatic Centre.

These short guides walk you through what you might see, hear, smell and do at the pool, making your visit more comfortable and predictable.

Developed for all ages, our social scripts can be especially helpful for neurodivergent people, newcomers, families and school groups.

Make sure to check our public holiday opening hours:

Good Friday 3 April - CLOSED
Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday (4 - 6 April) - Open 8am - 6pm

As usual, our aquatic areas close 15 minutes before the Centre closes.

POOL REOPENING

We're pleased to share that the 50m pool will reopen and resume normal operations tomorrow 28 March, following it unexpected two day closure.

Cooler than usual water temperature is expected while the pool heats back up over the coming days.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Power has now been restored at Prahran Aquatic Centre following an unexpected outage in the area earlier today.

Unfortunately, following the outage, some of our equipment has failed to restart. As a result, the 50m pool and toddler pool will remain closed for the rest of today and tomorrow while our team works to resolve the issue.

We expect to have more information tomorrow and will provide an updated reopening timeframe as soon as we can.

The spa, sauna, and steam room have reopened.
