• A new and expanded Emergency Department
• Intensive Care Unit
• Medical Imaging
• Operating theatres
• Inpatient wards.

The new Clinical Services Building Review of Environmental Factors and supporting technical documents are available online at:

Information sessions on the Fairfield Hospital Redevelopment are hosted in multiple languages to make sure everyone has the opportunity to learn about the project and give feedback.

Fairfield Hospital’s Dr Mariam Joseph recently shared information about the redevelopment in Arabic with members of Wesley Mission’s Senior Social Hub in Fairfield.

“Access to information is key to health and wellbeing, and that means removing language barriers for those whose first language is not English,” Dr Joseph said.

“The redevelopment is exciting news for local residents and it’s a pleasure to let people know what is in store.”

Outreach with multicultural groups is often delivered by clinicians from Fairfield Hospital in commonly spoken languages in the area, such as Arabic, Assyrian, Vietnamese and Chinese.
