🪖 BIVOUAC 2 - OPERATION HELIOS ☀️

Over the weekend, 226 ACU conducted their second bivouac of the year at 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮 with around 70 cadets taking part in an exciting field exercise.

This was the first time our newer cadets had the opportunity to participate in an activity filled with 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁, 𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, and 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

Throughout the bivouac, a well thought-out storyline captivated cadets, as they worked towards a common goal. The exercise centred around locating and recovering “𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗼𝘀”, the overarching objective of the weekend. After a series of missions and activities, 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗻 2 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗼𝘀 by the conclusion of the exercise.

Across the weekend, cadets demonstrated determination, teamwork and resilience while conducting activities such as vehicle checkpoints, intelligence gathering and observation posts.

👏 We thank the 𝟐𝟐𝟔 𝗔𝗖𝗨 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 and 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 for planning and conducting the bivouac, and sincerely thank the 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 who made the activity possible.

Congratulations to all cadets who took part in this bivouac.

A thank you to our Staff

Over the weekend, 226 ACU Pymble conducted its second Biv of the year. The Cadet Command Team put a lot of effort and planning into it an enjoyable experience for the Cadets, however, these activities cannot happen without the tireless effort of our ACS.

In addition to facilitating the AAC program, they are also our cooks, bus drivers, role players and logistic gurus. Their presence not only enables the program, but enhances the experience of all Cadets involved.

Thank you to all the Staff at 226 who volunteer their time making the Unit, and the AAC, a great experience for our Cadets!
