*Update 3pm, 2nd June 2026*

Western Power has advised that repair works on the Quairading line have been delayed.

As a result, the scheduled power outage is now expected to occur later today or possibly tomorrow.

⚠️ POWER OUTAGE NOTICE ⚠️

Western Power is currently carrying out repairs to the Quairading power line following the weekend’s storms.

To complete these works, power to the entire town will need to be switched off from approximately 1:00pm today.

Western Power anticipates the outage will last 2–3 hours.

If there are any significant changes to this timeframe, Western Power will provide an update and we will share further information as soon as possible.

The Australian Government Mobile Service Centre will be visiting Quairading on Wednesday 11 June and Thursday 12 June 2026 in the Quairading CRC car park.

The Mobile Service Centre provides information and support for:
• Rural families
• Older Australians
• Students
• Job seekers
• People with disability
• Carers
• Farmers
• Self-employed people
• Veterans and their families

Staff can assist with Australian Government payments and services, help you create a myGov account, and provide support accessing online services.

If you need help navigating government services, this is a great opportunity to speak directly with friendly staff locally.

🐾 Have you checked out the new additions at the Quairading Town Oval Off-Leash Exercise Area?

We’ve recently installed brand new signage, along with a dog drinking station and water bottle filler to help keep both pups and their humans hydrated while enjoying the space. 💧🐶

The new signs also include a few simple house rules to help everyone enjoy the area safely and respectfully.

Located in perfect proximity to the caravan park, the Quairading Town Oval is a great spot for locals and visitors travelling through to stretch their legs, enjoy the outdoors, and let their four-legged friends burn off some energy. 🌿

A fantastic community asset and another welcoming stop for tourism in our region.
