Thank you for the wonderful donations so far, you still have till the 25th of July to donate to this cause. We appreciate all the support. Remember, even a single item, like a tooth brush can make a difference. List is available in post office or see photos below.

Please get behind this cause for women and babies in need at King Edward Memorial Hospital. We have a donation box to put things into, or you can donate money if easier and we can purchase the items. We also have the patterns available if you are able to knit something and we have the list of required items. It is heartbreaking to think in todays day and age that women and babies are going without these basic items. Any donation helps, be it one toothbrush, or one other item on the list. Have you been given Christmas gifts you have never used of hand cream etc that you could donate.

We are collecting items for babies and mothers at King Edward Memorial Hospital. List of required donations is below, if you would like to knit one of the knitted items we have the patterns in the library. (they have to be the hospital patterns) We will be collecting until 25th of July. Box for donations is in the library.

Items for the babies (brand new shop-bought in packet):

onesies (size 0000 or 000)
singlets (like a onesie with no sleeves or legs - size 0000 or 000)
nappies (size 1)

More than 6,000 babies are born at King Edward Memorial Hospital each year. Many newborns arrive in an emergency and some without the essential babywear and blankets they need.

The Baby Bundles program supports Western Australian families in need by providing essential babywear and blankets to babies born prematurely, in emergencies, or to mothers in desperate situations.
