As part of Queensland Mental Health Week, the community is invited to a special screening of Just a Farmer in Quilpie.

This powerful Australian film provides an honest insight into farming life, rural communities, and the challenges that can impact mental health. More importantly, it offers an opportunity for our community to come together, share a meal, start meaningful conversations, and strengthen connections around rural wellbeing.

Quilpie Shire Council and Biosecurity Queensland invite landholders, industry and community members to join us for an important discussion about current and emerging biosecurity challenges across our region.

The roundtable will cover:
🔹 Current and emerging regional biosecurity issues
🔹 Fire ant risks, preparedness and reporting
