🔥 Unrestricted Burning Period Now in Effect 🔥

Today marks the return of the Unrestricted Burning Period ✅ (yes, your pile of “I’ll deal with that later” can finally meet its destiny 😄)

But before you channel your inner fire master…

While we’ve just had a 🌧️ wet and windy weekend, May itself was surprisingly dry. That means in a few days, your “tiny little burn” could turn into something a bit more… enthusiastic 🔥😬

👉 Please take care when burning
👉 Keep your fire attended at all times 👀 (fires don’t do well unsupervised… they get ideas)
👉 Think controlled burn, not backyard bushfire re-enactment 🚒

Remember:If your neighbours start roasting marshmallows without asking, your fire might be a bit bigger than planned 🍢😂

Let’s all keep things safe, sensible, and low on excitement 👍

Stay safe and enjoy your responsible burning adventures 🔥

🚒 COLLECTION DAY IS NEARING AND WE'RE COMING FOR YOUR LOOSE CHANGE! 🚒🔥

Perth, are you ready?

This Friday 15 May, over 100 volunteer bush firefighters will be taking over the streets of the CBD for our Annual Metropolitan Bush Fire Brigade Street Appeal!

We're coming in uniform, with big smiles, and an even bigger goal, to raise funds that help our local brigades stay trained, equipped, and ready to protect communities across WA.

And yes, before you ask... 💳 WE NOW ACCEPT EFTPOS.
No cash? No worries. Tap and go, Perth. We've entered the 21st century and we're not looking back. 😄

👋 Come say hello, meet the everyday legends who run toward the flames when others run away.
📸 Snap a selfie with a firefighter, it's not every day the city fills with yellow and blue!
💰 Make a donation, every dollar helps, and we accept cash OR card.

We know not everyone is in the City on a Friday, and we completely understand. But if you can make it in, we would absolutely love to see you. We will be there all day, so whether you're popping in for a morning coffee or winding down after work, come find us and show your local brigade some love.

Your support helps us stay prepared, stay equipped, and stay safe, for you and for your community.

Let's make this year's appeal our biggest yet!

Let's make some noise, Perth. We'll see you in the City this Friday!
