WHAT A WIN!

Our Raglan Netball Team has made history today, taking on Mudgee in the PSSA Western Finals — and coming away with the WIN! This is the furthest Raglan has ever progressed in PSSA netball, and we couldn’t be prouder of this incredible team. Their determination, teamwork and never-give-up attitude were on full display today!

And they’re not finished yet. Next up, the team will take on Inverell Public School, the North West Regional winners!

A huge thank you to Carla, who did an amazing job umpiring, and to our wonderful Raglan families for cheering the team on and supporting them every step of the way.

EISTEDDFOD SUCCESS CONTINUES

Congratulations to our incredible Raglan Dance Group. They danced beautifully this morning for their first ever performance. Their hard work and dedication was evident and they have made Raglan very proud, walking away with a Highly Commended!

Thank you to all the parents and families who supported their children with performing and costuming, we couldn’t do it without you!

We’re definitely getting a little taste of spring this weekend and Playgroup is ready! Last week was all about sunshine, fresh air and plenty of outdoor fun.

🏉💙 JERSEY DAY – LET’S GET THE CONVERSATION STARTED! 💙🏉

Our leadership team caught up with Mr Hanger, former KHC teacher and Bathurst mayor, to chat about the importance of organ donation and the value of families having those important conversations. They also chatted with Alicia, our very own canteen volunteer, who has had an organ transplant.

This Friday 4 September, students and staff are invited to wear their favourite sporting jersey or team colours to help raise awareness and get people talking. Each student wearing sporting colours or a jersey will get a ticket to be in the running to win some great prizes Mr Hanger left for us.

Whether you’re cheering for the premiers, supporting the underdogs or just here for a good-looking jersey… we’ll see you Friday!

OUTSTANDING ARTISTS!

The Chihuly Macchia bowl sculptures created by 5/6 Gold are inspired by the vibrant, organic forms of Dale Chihuly’s iconic Macchia series. Students explored bold colours, flowing shapes and expressive patterns to create unique glass-inspired artworks. Each bowl reflects the creativity and individuality of its maker, celebrating colour, imagination and the beauty of handmade sculpture.

DYNAMIC DYLAN

We were so lucky yesterday to welcome back and celebrate the achievements of one of our wonderful past students, Dylan Ruming! Dylan has recently had a fantastic meet at the U20 World Championships in Oregon, USA where he ran in the 4x400m mixed relay team, winning bronze and breaking the national record, and in the 4x400m men’s relay, placing fourth! Dylan was able to answer some of our students questions and everyone got a close look at his bronze medal! From beginning his running journey as a student at our wonderful school, to now displaying his phenomenal talent on the international stage, RPS is so proud of you, Dylan!
