🚨🔥 Raglan Brigade are currently working alongside multiple agencies to help contain an out-of-control Tip Fire.
Residents in the surrounding area are advised to remain indoors, keep all windows and doors closed, and avoid the area where possible due to smoke and the unknown materials involved in the fire.

Today our hearts are truly heavy with the tragic loss of two members of Marine Rescue NSW, who gave their lives while undertaking a rescue operation last night at Ballina.
These were people who answered the call to help others — putting themselves in harm’s way so someone else could make it home. That kind of courage and selflessness is hard to put into words, and even harder to comprehend.
Our thoughts are with their families, their crewmates at Marine Rescue Ballina, and the entire rescue community who are feeling this loss so deeply today. We stand with you, and we grieve with you.

Today is St. Florian's Day, celebrated annually, it is the feast day of Saint Florian, the Patron Saint of firefighters. Known as the patron for those protecting against fire, it is also celebrated as International Firefighters' Day to honor the bravery, dedication, and sacrifices of firefighters worldwide. It is a time for ceremonies to honor personnel who have gone above and beyond in service.

Raglan Brigade paid their respects this morning at the ANZAC Day Dawn Service.

Two of our members — one who has also served — had the privilege of laying a wreath in honour of those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

We are proud to stand alongside our community in remembrance, paying our respects to all past and present servicemen and women.
