Raglan Brigade paid their respects this morning at the ANZAC Day Dawn Service.

Two of our members — one who has also served — had the privilege of laying a wreath in honour of those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

We are proud to stand alongside our community in remembrance, paying our respects to all past and present servicemen and women.

Yesterday, crews from Raglan Brigade assisted with a Hazard Reduction at Sunny Corner.
Crews remained on scene for an extended period, working to secure the edges and ensure the area was safe.
A huge thank you to all the brigades for their teamwork.

So many different roles, from front line, to comms, to aviation or even logistics to name a few…

Tonight some new members went through a training night with one of our members, Gareth, learning all about the different positions, departments, rankings with helmet colours and stripes to epaulettes, including PPC/PPE.

It’s actually quite interesting to go through all of these so if you have an interest and want to know more, please drop in and see us at the station, Christie St Raglan on a Wednesday night 7-9pm or drop us a message on here.

Crews remained on scene until approximately 3:30am, working alongside Fire & Rescue Bathurst, Perthville, and Eglinton brigades to bring the fire under control.

Raglan RFS members had the privilege of attending training at our local airport tonight. ✈️🚒
During the session, members gained valuable knowledge about how the airport operates, including the runways, the types of aircraft that land there, how the lighting systems work, and where to respond in the event of an emergency.

A big thank you to Chris from the airport for taking the time to share the knowledge and help our members better understand the site should we ever be called to an incident there.

Female firefighters bring strength, courage, compassion, and resilience to every call they attend. Whether it’s responding to fires, helping communities during emergencies, or supporting their crews, these women show every day that bravery has no gender.
To the women who wear the uniform — thank you for your dedication, leadership, and the example you set for the next generation of firefighters. You continue to break barriers, inspire others, and prove that teamwork, determination, and heart are what truly matter.
Here’s to the women on the trucks, in the stations, and out in the field protecting our communities.

Today Raglan Brigade members responded to a fire at Dunkeld.
They worked alongside 2 trucks from Eglinton and 1 from Bathurst.
The highway was closed for a short period to ensure the safety of crews and the public while operations were underway.
