🌺 Remembrance Day 2025 🌺

Today our Red Range School leaders proudly represented our school at the local Remembrance Day Service. They laid a wreath and joined the community in honouring the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country.

🔬✨ Today our students were thrilled to welcome the UNE Discovery Voyager for a fun-filled day of science exploration! From discovering the wonders of our Dynamic Bodies, to seeing how Science Meets Art, experimenting in Creative Chemistry, and learning to Think Like a Rock, students were fully engaged in hands-on activities and experiments. 🧠🎨🧪🪨

A huge thank you to the UNE Discovery team for bringing science to life in such an exciting and inspiring way! 💙

🧪 Year 5/6 UNE Far Out Science Day! 🧠🐄

Our Year 5/6 students had an incredible day at the UNE Far Out Science Day! We kicked things off with “Cow-smic Adventures Science”, where students explored cattle behaviour and even had the chance to herd cattle using VR gear!

Next up was the Chemistry Escape Room, where teamwork and problem-solving skills were put to the test as students solved chemistry puzzles to unlock a sweet lollipop prize 🍭.

After a relaxing lunch in the beautiful Ingrid Moses Courtyard, we headed to Biological Sciences to learn about The Amazing Brain, complete with fascinating hands-on experiments.

We wrapped up the day with a spectacular Chemistry Magic Show—full of fire, colour, and big bangs that wowed everyone! 🔥💥

It was a fantastic, science-filled day where our students discovered new things, experimented, and got a taste of what life at university is like. 🌟
